Would you like the opportunity to experience life in the world's happiest country? Well, now you can. Ikea is on the hunt to send one lucky winner on a two-week trip to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, to experience life like the Danish.

It's the perfect opportunity for someone to explore the homes, habits and the 'hygge' of the happiest country in the world.

Over on the competition's website, Ikea Denmark explains: 'So, you are also looking for happiness? We hope that you will come visit us in Denmark and help us find all the keys to a real home of happiness. Keys we will share with the rest of the world – and hopefully make everyone in it (perhaps even you?) a little bit happier.'

Think you could be in with a chance to win? Here's what to do next...

How to apply

Hopeful applicants can apply via the online application form. The team at Ikea are looking for someone who is curious, loves to travel, wants to meet new people and get fully immersed in a new culture. You'll also have to be good in front of the camera and be at least 18 years old.

As part of the process, those entering will have to film a 60-second video explaining why they are eager to investigate happiness. The more creative, the better!

What is the prize?

The winner of the competition will stay in a home in Copenhagen for two weeks, 'ready to be filled with happiness'. You'll have guided tours, talks, dinners and time to explore the history of the beautiful city. Plus, expect plenty of free Ikea meatballs at the restaurant.

As well as covering all expenses, Ikea will also pay a token amount as a salary. It might only be for two weeks, but expect to leave feeling refreshed and happier than ever.

In return, you'll be asked to blog about your experience for Ikea Home View, to give others an insight into your time there.

You have until 1 July 2019 to apply. Good luck!
